Gamecube hockey, Veronica Mars

Playing NHL hockey on the Gamecube with my 9 year old nephew while I babysat Friday-Sunday this past weekend resulted in (a) increased wrist pain and (b) him kicking my ass. Sigh. I'm too old/damaged for this shit. But the controller shakes when you body check a guy (or get body checked). So. Yeah. Cool. Yes, I am easily amused. Or 38 going on 13... the Atari days! Too bad my wrists feel like they're 60 yrs old, instead of 13 -- or 38.
