Eh. Well. So I posted my first fic in, like, 5 years or something. To DSX last night, and to RedSuitsYou and dsslash tonight. Because I don't really know where else to post. I found a "friends" page, which is really just some people I don't know who have a livejournal page, ds_noticeboard. Which looks cool. I haven't had time to fully explore... what with the exam on this past Monday, the care plan due this morning at 7am (yeegods) and the exam I had this afternoon. And, right now, I should be baking cookies. (I already got 2 pumpkin pies done... the real deal, made the crusts and rolled 'em out myself.)

Oh, well, it would be nice if I got at least one beta-reader from all this posting. I suppose I shouldn't hope for any feedback during the long holiday weekend. OTOH if I don't have any in a few weeks, I will know I am in no man's land, and no one out there is reading my stuff. Sigh.

{blinks} Dude, I'd beta for you anytime. Or at least anytime after the middle of December. Not sure how much that means, since I've never done it before, but at least it's a sincere expression of how much I like your stories. I ran into your Verushka stories on the DSA archive somehow, a while ago, and...wow, what you write is scorching hot. Happy to hear you're writing again.

Was wondering if you are still out there, willing to beta read Tight. I've tried using cut tags to put the whole story in one journal entry. LJ won't let me, it keeps saying "post too large" and I can't find anything in the FAQs that could solve this problem. Funny, because it previews okay... but when it comes time to save the journal entry, it just won't do it. Sigh.

I can send you the whole thing in one file (MS Word or text file, or something else if you prefer and if I can convert it...).

Also, would you happen to know anyone who might be interested in beta-ing a very pornographic Hard Core Logo slashfic (Billy/Joe)? Or might you be interested? If you're interested or you can think of anyone, that's great; if not, no problem, I just figured no harm in asking.

Yep! Sorry I took so long to get back to you, but I've been out of town. I'd be happy to beta Tight. Email me (either Word or Text is fine, but Word might be easier, because then I can make comments on the file itself in a different color - if you'd rather work that way.) Actually we should also talk over email about what it is you want from a beta & so on, to make sure our expectations match.

As far as the HCL fic, pornography doesn't bother me (I'm rather fond of it, actually) but I've never seen the movie, so could only check grammar & such, not characterization, etc.

Ok, thanks so much. I was out of town over the weekend too, so no prob on the getting back to me. I just happened to login briefly today; I hadn't been online since 12/30 myself.

I'll email you the Word doc of Tight. The HCL story I'll also send (separate email). Just grammar is fine. Right now I'm still awaiting the special edition HCL DVD. If you know anyone with a HCL fetish who might be interested in beta-ing for characterization and canon that'd be a plus, but if you don't, c'est la vie. Thanks again!
