Paul Gross on Saint-Pierre series

verushka70The official Saint-Pierre TV series Facebook group posted a couple photos of Paul Gross in his Saint-Pierre cameo role... And indicated he will be back!
Unfortunately, I don't know of any way to view Saint-Pierre in the US. It's on CBC and georestricted. Sigh.

Date: 2026-02-03 05:35 am (UTC)Yeah, I'd like to watch it, too. It took 5-6 episodes for me to really get into Republic of Doyle. But a series set on a French controlled island off the coast of Newfoundland? (I mean, I never knew there were any French (not Quebec) controlled islands off the coast of North America, except in the Caribbean, until I heard about it on RoD... I figured it was just another Canadian island. So I find it intriguing just for that alone.
(I confess to initially thinking, "there's crime there??", but then the cynical side of me kicked in and thought, "Well, of course there's crime there: there are people there." Plus I'd be lying if I denied the eye candy factor Hawco brings to things, heh; definitely helped pique my interest... Though I doubt he'll be getting near-naked as often as he did on RoD. Although, maybe...)
