Date: 2015-07-27 02:11 am (UTC)Tonight's episode, specifically when Ani gets on the bus and gives up her purse and there's NO going back, reminded me of 1x4 with the 6 minute single-take shot when Cohle goes with Ginger to rob the stash house. It wasn't executed the same way, but the suspense literally had me on the edge of my seat, I was so "WTF's going to happen?!?" Plus I wasn't sure if what happened to Irena was foreshadowing for Ani or just meant to seem like it.
I have to be up at 4:45am but I'm so keyed up now, I don't know how I'm going to sleep. Argh!
