I recall watching something with my grandmother, eons ago when I was a kid, & he was either the romantic lead or the romantic rival - & even as a kid, I was like "huh, that guy is quite good looking" & it was Leslie Nielsen... & Then the next thing I saw him in was "Airplane!" heh!
