Date: 2024-01-04 03:13 am (UTC)(It has been a long time, but I lost both my parents at 25, so I know that horrible cycle of chemo-sickness-getting better-not-getting-better. Cancer didn't actually take either of my parents, but it didn't help, either.)
I am glad you were able to have a little escapism from all that, and while it is sorrowful, I'm glad your sister is in hospice. They can help so much, even though you hate the reason they're there.
