things to do this summer (two for geeks -- or ex-geeks like myself)
After I finish this HCL/FTWHTWD story that is dogging me, I have decided to try to accomplish three things this summer:
1. Pass the NCLEX-RN licensing exam and become a "real" RN. I'm scheduled to take it at 3pm (yes!! no 9am torture, when I'm not even fully awake!) downtown on Friday, July 6. Woohoo!
2. Figure out this frakkin' webserver issue so I can help out![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
supply_closet by providing links to some CKR and HD stuff. (1st geek task)
3. Mod my old Xbox so it can play AVI, DiVX, mp3 and other media files, to basically become my home theater. I mean. Hell, I've been watching bootleg DVDs on it and they look beautiful. After I get it modded, I'll be able to watch the AVIs of Durham County on a TV, instead of my Mac. (geek task #2)
And when I finally have money coming in from a job, I'm determined to get Botox so I stop grinding my teeth and waking up with these hideous headaches and neckaches that don't go away for hours after I've taken Aleve or Advil or aspirin or even my mom's Vicodin. I don't even have the two fang-like incisors anymore. Their points have been worn down thanks to grinding my teeth.
That is all. Going to lay down now, to try to get the frakkin' neck- and headache to go away, since nothing else is working and I can't take anymore aspirin-like drugs since I took 2 Aleve at 1:30pm and they haven't done a damn thing. Ow, ow, ow.
