I know, I should use Gmail's awesome native powers. But my DSL is the slowest, cheapest, and wants to crap out a lot during Gmail's autosaves, so I was using Gmail's basic html layout. And not using the, um, clearly marked "Save Draft" button right there by where I was typing. Sigh. I'm re-writing. TYK for the support...
