Yeah, I'm starting to think you're right. With the possibility of pre-existing conditions being excluded (like my asthma and depression), as well as if something terrible should happen that I wouldn't be insured for, thereby severely indebting me... well, I think I'd rather just bite the bullet and pay the $517/month for the COBRA until I get another FT job. Because, shit, I can't afford something like that happening -- it would wipe out the money I was planning on using for tuition to finish my BSN and as a cushion in case anything worse happens...
