Am about to email my advisor that I want to withdraw from the class I'm currently taking in the RN-to-BSN program I'm in, because over the course of the last 4 weeks I discovered (1) it's probably not a good idea to work FT at a new job at which I'm orienting, (2) work FT 2 out of 4 weeks at my PT job, and (3) expect to do well in the class; but (4) having 2 tuition payments of $980 debited from my checking account when there wasn't enough money in it on 2/28 OR on 3/28 kind of put me in a position where I could not refuse the extra hours my PT job offered me... given that I was, at one point, $1400 in the RED on my checking account. And let's not forget about the $32 charge for each payment that was presented that couldn't go through...! The 2/28 tuition payment was presented 3 times so I was charged nearly $100 for just that... plus $32 each for every other payment that came through before I got my first check from the new job.

All of which is to say, now that I have made up my mind to withdraw from the stupid 2 credit hour class because (unlike the other 4 classes, in which I got As, all of which were 3, 4, or 5 credit hours) I am currently at a 68% average for reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture (although exhaustion and the need for sleep certainly played a role)... what is my first move?

To create an account on Dreamwidth, so I never have to worry about the "adult nature" of anything I post causing my account to be revoked or disciplined.

So, with the extra time I will have, I really want to ease back into writing fic. I am getting the itch. Or maybe it's just spring, when a young (and middle-aged) woman's fancy turns to thoughts of... well, sexy, smutty, slashy things. Yay.
