❤️Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, it all just sucks. But I am grateful she has hospice. She wants to die at home (where her husband died of lung cancer in her care, in February 2020) - not full of tubes and wires, in a facility. With hospice, she can have that, fortunately.
And I'm sorry to hear that you went through that with both parents, even if it was a long time ago - I went through cancer deaths of my mom and stepfather (with my father, it was dementia, him first before my mom and stepdad), so I know just how tough that is. I felt like I was losing my mind with stress and grief; they were all in succession, one after another, after another.
That is a hell I'm glad we can only go through once (once you lose your parents, you're done)... I'm so sorry to hear that you had to go through it too.
